Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy explains what information Nokware keeps, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Nokware is run by E.O.A Dominion Enterprise, Abossey Okai, Accra, Ghana. We aim to handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
1. What we keep
- Your account: your email address and an encrypted form of your password.
- Your shop: shop name, location, phone and Mobile Money details you choose to add.
- Your records: products, prices, stock, sales, credit and repayments.
- Your customers' details that you enter: names, phone numbers, vehicles and number plates, and what they bought.
We don't collect your location, contacts or anything else from your phone.
2. Why we keep it
- To run the app: show your records, produce receipts and warranty messages, and track credit.
- To manage your free trial and subscription.
- To give you support when you ask for help.
We never sell your information or your customers' information, and we don't use it for advertising.
3. Who can see it
- Only you can see your shop's records in the app. Other shops cannot see them.
- We may look at your account only to give support you ask for, fix a problem, or when the law requires it.
- We use trusted service providers to run Nokware: Supabase stores the database (on servers in the European Union), and Cloudflare hosts the website and app. They process data only to provide their service to us.
- WhatsApp messages you send to customers go through WhatsApp on your own phone. We don't see or keep those messages.
4. Your customers' information
For the customer details you enter, you decide what to record and how to use it. Please only record what you need, get your customers' permission before messaging them, and delete their details if they ask you to. Message us if you need help with that.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your records while your account is open, including if your subscription lapses, so you don't lose your history. If you ask us to close your account, we delete your records within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep.
6. Keeping it safe
Connections to Nokware are encrypted, passwords are never stored in plain text, and database rules make sure each shop can only reach its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password private and download copies of your records regularly.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Message us on WhatsApp at 020 325 3725. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we'll tell you in the app or on WhatsApp before it takes effect.
